For a lightweight climbing rope the Edelrid Boa is a great choice at 9.8mm diameter and 62grams per metre.
The rope has a Thermo Shield treatment which is the standard treatment that Edelrid apply to all their ropes to give the rope a suppleness and easy handling characteristics. The thermal stabilising process ensures that the core and sheath yarns are perfectly balanced and a special heat treatment cure first relaxes then shrinks the rope’s fibres.
This rope is 3D lap coiled which means you can use it straightaway without the rope kinking and tangling.
